Scope
GB/T 35958-2018 is the English-translated version of 农村土地承包经营权要素编码规则.
GB/T 35958-2018 lays down how the elements of the right to rural land contractual management are coded in China.
It covers six elements - the party giving out the contract, the contractor, the contracted plot, the contract, the register of rural land contractual management and the contractual management certificate - and for each one fixes the code structure, the coding method and the code rules.
The employer code, for example, is built from the county, township, village and group level codes into 14 Arabic numerals. The rules rest on the administrative division codes of GB/T 2260 and GB/T 10114 and on GB/T 10113.
They are used when rights are confirmed and registered, so that these records can be identified, processed and exchanged as data. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the rural land contractual management rights elements (contractors, contractors, contracted plots, contract, rural land contract management Right register, rural land contract warrants) code structure, coding methods and code rules.
This standard applies to rural land contracting management rights to confirm the registration of the Employer, contractor, contracted plots, contract, rural land bearing Packet management register, rural land contract warrants for information identification, processing, exchange and so on.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 10113 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Party giving out the contract
Rural collective economic organizations that contract rural land, village committees or village groups.
3.2 Contractor
Contracted rural land farmers, individuals or units.
3.3 Contract
The agreement between the Employer and the Contractor on the relationship between the rights and obligations of rural land contracting.
3.4 Register of rural land contracting management
Record the natural status of the land, the right to contract management rights and other special books to be registered according to law.
3.5 Rural land contractual management certificate
After the rural land contract comes into effect, the state confirms the legal document that the contractor has the right to contract and manage the land according to law.
