Scope

GB/T 35442-2017 is the English-translated version of 对位芳纶短纤维.

GB/T 35442-2017 covers para-aramid staple fiber.

Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the term and definition, the classification and identification, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements, and that it applies to para-aramid staple fiber of 1.0 dtex to 5.0 dtex linear density, with other specifications of aramid staple fiber able to refer to it.

Clause 3 takes the definitions of GB/T 3291.1, GB/T 3291.3 and all parts of GB/T 4146, and adds one of its own: para-aramid, also given as poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide fiber and as aramid 1414, defined as a group of linear macromolecules in which phenyl rings are linked by amide groups at the para position, with at least 85% of the amide bonds connected directly between two aligned benzene rings.

Clause 4 opens the classification and identification with the product classification, which divides the products into a spinning type and a non-woven type.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 4146 (all parts), GB/T 6503 on the moisture regain test method, GB/T 6504 on the oil content test method, GB/T 6529 on the standard atmosphere for conditioning and testing textiles, GB/T 8170-2008, GB/T 14335-2008 on linear density, GB/T 14336 on length, GB/T 14337 on tensile properties and GB/T 14339-2008 on fiber defects, together with four entries whose codes the draft does not print, on parts 1 and 3 of the textile performance and test terms, on the sampling of chemical staple fiber and on the test method for its crimp properties.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the term and definition of para-aramid staple fiber, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, including Installation, transportation, storage requirements.

This standard applies to linear density of 1.0dtex ~ 5.0dtex para-aramid staple fiber. Other specifications of aramid staple fiber can refer to use.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 3291.1, GB/T 3291.3, GB/T 4146 (all parts) and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Para-aramid

Poly-p-phenylene terephthalamide fiber; Aramid 1414

A group consisting of linear macromolecules consisting of the para-position of the phenyl ring linked by amide groups. Among them, at least 85% of the amide bond is directly connected Between the two benzene ring alignment.
