Scope
GB/T 35213-2017 is the English-translated version of 土方机械 履带式推土机 技术条件.
China's national specification for crawler bulldozers. It specifies the terms and definitions, the classification, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage, for machines above a stated net engine power. The crawler dozer is the oldest machine in the earth-moving family and still the one that moves the most material per hour over short distances. Tracks give it the traction to push a full blade and the flotation to work on ground a wheeled machine would sink into, and a ripper on the back lets it break rock that would otherwise need blasting. What a specification for it has to pin down is the numbers a buyer compares: blade capacity, which can be quoted several ways for the same blade; drawbar pull, which depends on how the machine is ballasted; and the operating weight, which is the figure everything else scales from and which is meaningless without saying what is included. Fixing those definitions is most of the standard's practical value.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions crawler tractors, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and Storage. This standard applies to the engine net power 60kW ~ 400kW mechanical transmission, hydraulic mechanical transmission and hydrostatic transmission type Crawler Dozer (hereinafter referred to as bulldozer). Bulldozer derivatives (such as push rake), variant products, and net power greater than 400kW Bulldozers can also refer to the use.
