Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 8590-2001 "Bulldozer Terminology". This standard is compared with GB/T 8590-2001 except for editorial modifications.

The main technical changes are as follows.

--- Revised the standard name and changed to "earth machinery bulldozer terminology and commercial specifications";

--- Revised the normative reference document (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2001 edition);

--- Added the terms and definitions of "reference ground plane", "bridge load" and "maximum bridge load" (see 3.1.10, 3.2.2.3, 3.2.2.4);

--- Removed "driver room, hangar, ROPS and/or FOPS quality" (see 3.2.4 of the.2001 edition);

--- Removed "size terminology" (see 3.4 of the.2001 edition);

--- Amend Appendix A "Standard Appendices" to "normative appendix" and supplement its contents (see Appendix A);

--- Removed the Chinese index and the English index (see the Chinese version of the.2001 version, the English index).

This standard uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 6747.2013 "Turkish machinery bulldozer terminology and commercial specifications."

The documents of our country that have a consistent correspondence with the international documents referenced in this standard are as follows.

--- GB/T 8592-2001 Earth-moving machinery - Determination of the steering dimensions of machines (ISO 7457..1997, IDT);

---GB/T 10913-2005 Earth moving machinery speed measurement (ISO 6014. 1986, MOD);

---GB/T 14781-2014 Earthmoving machinery tire type machine steering requirements (ISO 5010.2007, IDT);

---GB/T 16936-2015 earthmoving machinery engine net power test specification (ISO 9249.2007, IDT);

--- GB/T 18577.1-2008 Definition of dimensions and symbols for earth-moving machinery - Part 1. Hosts (ISO 6746-1.2003,

IDT);

--- GB/T 18577.2-2008 Definition of dimensions and symbols for earth-moving machinery - Part 2. Working devices and accessories

(ISO 6746-2.2003, IDT).

This standard was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation.

This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Earthmoving Machinery Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC334).

This standard was drafted. Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., Tianjin Engineering Machinery Research Institute.
