GB/T 36694-2018 is the English-translated version of 土方机械 履带式推土机燃油消耗量 试验方法.
GB/T 36694-2018 is the Chinese national test method for measuring how much fuel a crawler bulldozer uses while it simulates its working cycle.
It covers crawler dozers with an engine rated power of 560 kW or less and sets out the test items, a traction test and a standby test, with the test conditions, the ways of measuring fuel consumption, the test procedure, the test record and the evaluation of the results.
The test conditions fix the configuration of the test machine, the adjustment of the engine's no-load minimum and maximum speeds and a fuel tank filled to more than two thirds of its capacity, and an informative annex gives a model test record table.
It is used alongside the traction test method of GB/T 6375. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions and test items for the fuel consumption of crawler dozers with an engine rated power of 560 kW or less. Objectives, test conditions, measurement methods, test methods, test records, and test evaluations.
This standard applies to the measurement of fuel consumption in the simulated action of a crawler dozer.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 8498 and GB/T 8590 apply to this document.
4 Test items
The test is carried out according to the following items.

5 Test conditions
5.1 Test machine
5.1.1 Configuration
The configuration of the test machine shall be in the standard state specified by the manufacturer. There is no restriction when there is no influence on the center of gravity of the test machine.
5.1.2 Engine speed
The no-load minimum speed and the no-load maximum speed of the test machine engine are adjusted to within the specified range.
5.1.3 Fuel filling amount
The fuel filling capacity should be more than 2/3 of the fuel tank capacity.
