Scope

GB/T 34253-2017 is the English-translated version of 日用陶瓷器冰箱至微波炉、烤箱适应性检测方法.

This standard gives the test for whether domestic ceramic ware can go straight from the freezer into a microwave oven or an oven.

Clause 1 states that it specifies that detection method for domestic ceramics and that it applies to the determination of the same adaptability; the draft renders the second scope sentence corruptly, repeating refrigerators where the title and the principle clause put the microwave oven and the oven.

Clause 2, principle, explains the test: the moisture held in the ware is measured under set conditions, then samples frozen in the freezer are put directly into the microwave oven and the oven to see whether arcing is produced during microwave heating and what damage the two heatings leave behind.

Clause 3 lists the equipment, which includes a freezer holding its working area to within 3 degrees C and reaching no higher than minus 8 degrees C, a 1 % methylene blue solution, two water containers of 125 mL or more that fit in the inside corner of the microwave oven, a microwave oven of at least 600 W output power, and an oven that brings a sample up to temperature within 15 min, holds its working area to within 5 degrees C and reaches at least 200 degrees C. Clause 4 requires three pieces of each type of product as the test samples.

Clause 5 begins the procedure with a visual check that the sample is free of damage and cracks, then an hour of immersion in water at 20 degrees C plus or minus 3 degrees C and wiping dry with a cloth.

The draft breaks off at 5.2, so the freezing, the heating and the assessment of the result are not shown, and the page gives no index.

It was proposed by the China Light Industry Federation and is administered by the National Ceramics Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC405), with the National Ceramic Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Jiangxi) first among the drafting units. It was issued on 2017-09-07 and has applied since 2018-04-01.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the daily use of ceramic refrigerators to microwave oven, oven adaptive testing methods.

This standard applies to daily use of ceramic refrigerators to refrigerators, oven adaptability determination.

2 Principle

By measuring the daily use of porcelain containing moisture in the conditions, the food samples will be frozen in the refrigerator directly into the microwave, oven Heating, whether the electric arc is generated in the microwave heating process, and the damage after the two are heated.

3 Equipment

3.1 Freezer

Controlled work area temperature difference within ± 3 °C, the lowest temperature is not higher than -8 °C.

3.2 Methylene blue solution

Concentration. 1%.

3.3 Water container

2, capacity 125mL above, can be placed on the inside corner of the microwave oven.

3.4 Microwave oven

Output power is not less than 600W.

3.5 Oven

Has enough heating rate to ensure that after the sample into the test within 15min to pick up temperature, temperature control work area at ± 5 °C, the maximum temperature is not less than 200 °C.

4 Sample

Take 3 pieces for each type of product as the test sample.

5 Steps

5.1 visual samples to determine its no damage, cracks.

5.2 Sample immersed in water (20 ± 3) °C 1h, then wipe dry with a cloth.
