This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 10816-2008 "Zisha Pottery". Compared with GB/T 10816-2008, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, In addition to the above, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 10816-2024 is the Chinese national standard on zisha ware, in the field of glass and ceramics industries. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 31 December 2024 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2025. Classification: ICS 81.060.20, CCS Y24. 3 Terms and definitions

4 Product Categories

4.1 According to the purpose of the product, it can be divided into pots, cups, plates and dishes, steamers, flower pots and other utensils.

4.2 According to the specifications of the products, they are divided into small, medium, large and special types. The specification range is shown in Table 1.

4.3 Products are divided into superior products and qualified products according to their appearance quality.
