Scope
GB/T 34048-2017 is the English-translated version of 紫外辐射表.
GB/T 34048-2017 sets the classification and composition, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, the calibration and test cycle, the marking, packaging, transport and storage provisions and the accompanying documents for the broadband ultraviolet radiometer.
Four normative annexes complete it: the environmental classification of the instrument, its electromagnetic compatibility requirements and test methods, the performance required of the test instruments and equipment, and the environmental test methods.
It calls up the GB/T 2423 environmental test series for low temperature, high temperature, damp heat, vibration and low pressure, the GB/T 17626 series for electromagnetic compatibility, GB/T 4208-2017 for enclosure protection, GB/T 2828.1-2012 for sampling and GB/T 33868-2017 for the calibration method.
It applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of broadband ultraviolet radiometers used to measure solar ultraviolet radiation at the ground. It was issued on 1 November 2017 and has applied since 1 May 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and composition of broadband ultraviolet radiation meter, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, calibration cycle, logo, package Loading, transport, storage and accompanying documents.
This standard applies to the measurement of solar ultraviolet radiation with broadband ultraviolet radiation table (referred to as UV radiation table) design, production and acceptance.

3.1 Broadband ultraviolet radiometer
A device with a bandwidth greater than tens of nanometers to measure the sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation on the ground.
3.2 Out of band response
The percentage of response within a relative bandwidth due to incident radiation beyond the specified bandwidth.
