Scope

GB/T 33868-2017 is the English-translated version of 紫外辐射表校准方法.

GB/T 33868-2017 is the Chinese national method for calibrating the sensitivity of a broadband ultraviolet radiometer against a standard instrument in sunlight. It sets the calibration conditions and method, the assessment of uncertainty, the content of the result and the recalibration interval, with annexes on the spectral radiometer.

The site must be open, the sky clear, the solar elevation angle at least 30 degrees, an air temperature of 10 degrees C to 30 degrees C, a relative humidity not above 80% and a wind speed not above 5 m/s.

The standard radiometer must have an uncertainty not greater than 7%, a cosine response error not greater than 2.5% and an out-of-band response above 400 nm not exceeding 0.1%.

It covers UV-A, UV-B and UV-AB instruments, was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the calibration conditions for the UV radiation table, the calibration method, and the uncertainty of the calibration results.

This standard applies to the solar broadband UV radiation table sensitivity calibration.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

2.1 Ultraviolet radiation table; broadband ultraviolet radiation table

Bandwidth greater than tens of nanometers, measuring ground ultraviolet ultraviolet radiation (UV) instruments.

Note: According to the measurement of the spectral range can be divided into three categories. measuring UV-A (315nm ~ 400nm), UV-B (280nm ~ 315nm) or UV-AB (280nm ~ 400nm) broadband ultraviolet radiation table.

3 Calibration conditions

3.1 Environmental conditions

3.1.1 around the open, the instrument sensor surface above no obstacles.

3.1.2 Sky clear, good atmospheric transparency, the sun height angle of not less than 30°.

3.1.3 air temperature in the range of 10 °C ~ 30 °C, the relative humidity of not more than 80%, wind speed is not greater than 5m/s.

3.2 Standard and ancillary equipment

3.2.1 Standard Broadband Ultraviolet Radiation Table

Should meet the following requirements.

a) The uncertainty should not be greater than 7%;

b) cosine response error (zenith angle 0° ~ 70°) should not be greater than 2.5%;

c) Outside response (greater than 400nm) should not exceed 0.1%.

3.2.2 Digital instrumentation

0.05, resolution 1µV.

3.2.3 Environmental measuring instruments

Technical indicators in Table 1.
