GB/T 45183-2025 is the English-translated version of 塑料 气候老化试验中辐照量的仪器测定 总则和基本测试方法.

GB/T 45183-2025 — This document describes the instrumental method for determining irradiance on a flat surface (hereinafter referred to as the "instrumental method"), including solar radiation in nature, Concentrated solar radiation and radiation produced by laboratory light sources.

For the measurement of solar radiation in natural weathering and accelerated natural weathering, the instrumental method includes continuous measurement of total solar radiation, solar the irradiance is obtained by accumulating or integrating the total solar ultraviolet radiation and solar (ultraviolet) spectral radiation and the above instantaneous measured values.

For the measurement of radiation during artificial accelerated weathering or artificial accelerated radiation exposure, instrumental methods involve continuous measurement of all or specified wavelengths.

The ultraviolet radiation, visible spectrum irradiance and/or ultraviolet spectrum irradiance within the range, as well as the instantaneous measurement values mentioned above, are accumulated or integrated to obtain Get the radiation exposure.

This document does not cover methods using blue wool standards, chemical radiation, polymer or other film dosimeters.

Introduction

When the exposure period of natural weathering, accelerated natural weathering, artificially accelerated weathering, or artificially accelerated radiation exposure is determined only by time, the effects of changes in the spectral irradiance of the light source and differences in moisture and/or temperature between different exposure tests are often ignored.

The exposure cycle of natural aging determined by the total solar radiation is conducive to the results of exposure tests at different times at the same location.

In addition, monitoring the amount of UV radiation in natural weathering exposure, artificial accelerated weathering or artificial accelerated radiation exposure is the same this is very important.

There are two common methods for measuring UV radiation. One is to use a physical standard, that is, to expose a reference material at the same time.

The preferred method is to use a radiometer that responds to UV radiation.

The instrumental method and the main characteristics of the instruments used are introduced to provide guidance for users in selecting and using radiometers.
