GB/T 33662-2017 is the English-translated version of 可录类出版物光盘CD-R、DVD-R、DVD+R常规检测参数.
GB/T 33662-2017 fixes the routine tests for the recordable optical discs issued as publications: CD-R, DVD-R and DVD+R. It lists the general detection parameters, the conditions under which they are measured and a weathering test, and it applies to the testing of recordable CD-R, DVD-R and DVD+R products.
Its terms, several taken from CY/T 85-2012, define the recordable publication disc, the CD-R and the recordable DVD, the eccentricity between the geometric centre of the recorded track and that of the centre hole, the track pitch measured radially between adjacent track centre lines, and the tilt of the disc against its reference plane.
A normative annex covers the detection optics and optical heads, and an informative one gives example temperature and humidity conditions for the weathering test. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the routine inspection parameters, parameter detection conditions and weather resistance of CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R test.
This standard applies to the recordable CD-R, DVD-R, DVD+R product testing.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1 Recordable publication discs
A disc publication that can be written by a user. Including recordable discs and rewritable discs.
2.2 CD-ROM can be recorded; CD-R
CD format can be recorded in a laser way to write CD-ROM. [CY/T 85-2012, definition 3.18]
2.3 Recordable DVD discs
In the case of laser recording, the information can be written to the DVD format. Divided into DVD-R and DVD+R two formats.
Note 1. DVD-R (DVD-recordable) Track recording and shore pre-recording pit with frequency of 140.6 kHz swing groove (WobbleGroove) (LPP, LandPre-Pit) addressing. DVD+R uses the frequency of 817.4kHz swing groove for track recording and pre-engraved slot address (ADIP, ADdressInPre-groove) addressing. DVD+R and DVD-R are not compatible with each other.

2.4 Eccentricity; ECC
Disc information (track) deviation between geometric center and disk center hole geometric center. Unit. µm. [CY/T 85-2012, Definition 5.11]
2.5 Track pitch; TRP
The distance between adjacent track center lines measured along the radial direction of the disc. Unit. µm. [CY/T 85-2012, definition 5.13]
