Scope

GB/T 33664-2017 is the English-translated version of CD、DVD类出版物光盘复制质量检验评定规范.

GB/T 33664-2017 sets out how the replication quality of optical disc publications is inspected and rated, covering read-only CD-DA, VCD, CD-ROM, DVD-Video and DVD-ROM discs and recordable CD-R, DVD-R and DVD+R discs.

It sorts the inspection items into class A, the ones of greatest concern for quality, and class B, and for each item gives its abbreviation or symbol and the standard it is checked against; the mechanical parameters are among them, with disc diameter, centre hole diameter, disc thickness and the diameter and thickness of the clamping area.

It then covers disc detection and the rules for assessing quality. Its terms come from GB/T 33662-2017, GB/T 33663-2017 and CY/T 85, which it cites. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the CD-ROM, CD-ROM, DVD-Video, DVD-ROM, and recordable publications.

CD-R, DVD-R, DVD R and the importance of classification, disc detection and quality assessment rules.

This standard applies to read-only and recordable CD-ROM copy quality testing.
