Scope
GB/T 33416-2016 is the English-translated version of 针灸技术操作规范 编写通则.
This standard lays down how a specification of manipulations of acupuncture and moxibustion is to be drafted.
Clause 1 states that it specifies the general principles, the elements and the specific content requirements of those technical operating specifications, which the text then calls the norms, and that it applies to the preparation of the parts of the norms.
Clause 3 defines acupuncture and moxibustion techniques as the specific methods of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment together with their related requirements, and the operating specification itself as the unified technical requirements covering the procedures, the steps and the methods of the various therapies.
Clause 4, write general rules, requires the parts of the norms to comply with this standard, to keep their structure, style and terminology uniform between parts, and to make the references between parts accurate.
Clause 5, basic requirements, demands that the operating method be described accurately enough for the operator to repeat it correctly, that quantifiable content be quantified, and that the theoretical basis of the operation be left out.
Clause 6 then presents the structural elements of the parts of the norms in Table 1, and the draft breaks off at that point without showing the table. Clause 2 cites GB/T 1.1-2009, GB/T 10112-1999 and GB/T 20001.1.
It was proposed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and drafted by the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It was issued on 2016-12-30 and has applied since 2017-07-01.

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the general principles, elements, and specific contents of the acupuncture and moxibustion technical practices (hereinafter referred to as "norms"). Claim.
This standard applies to the preparation of the "normative" parts.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Acupuncture and moxibustion techniques

On a variety of acupuncture therapy procedures, procedures, methods and other aspects of the unified technical requirements.
4 Write general rules
4.1 The preparation of the "normative" parts shall comply with the requirements of this standard.
4.2 The unity of structure, style and terminology should be maintained between the various parts of the Code.
4.3 The references between the "normative" sections should be accurate.
5 Basic requirements
