Foreword

This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This Standard specifies the expression method of designation, order, size, shape, weight and tolerance, technical requirements, special requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificate of hot-rolled steel plate, sheet and strip for automobile axle housings.

This Standard is applicable to hot-rolled steel plate, sheet and strip of which the thickness is 2.0 mm ~ 18.0 mm, for production of automobile axle housings (hereinafter referred to as steel plate, sheet and strip).

7 Special requirements

As required by the purchaser, agreed by the supplier and the purchaser, steel plate, sheet and strip of other special requirements such as low temperature impact performance shall be supplied.

8 Test methods

8.1 The chemical composition analysis method of steel shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 223.5, GB/T 223.12, GB/T 223.19, GB/T 223.23, GB/T 223.40, GB/T 223.59, GB/T 223.64, GB/T 223.76, GB/T 223.85,GB/T 223.86,GB/T 4336,GB/T 20123 or general method. But the arbitration shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 223.5, GB/T 223.12, GB/T 223.19, GB/T 223.23, GB/T 223.40, GB/T 223.59, GB/T 223.64,

GB/T 223.76, GB/T 223.85, GB/T 223.86.

8.2 The inspection items and test methods of each batch of steel plate, sheet and strip shall comply with the provisions of Table 5.

9 Inspection rules

9.1 The steel plate, sheet and strip shall be inspected and accepted by the quality and technical supervision department of the supplier.

9.2 The steel plate, sheet and strip shall be inspected in batches. Each batch shall consist of same furnace number, same thickness, same designation, same delivery status or same heat treatment system.

9.3 The sampling quantity and sampling method of steel plate, sheet and strip shall comply with the provisions of Table 5.

9.4 The re-inspection and determination of steel plate, sheet and strip shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 17505.

9.5 The mechanical properties and chemical composition test results shall use rounding value comparison method for rounding. The rounding rules shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 8170.

10 Packaging, marks and quality certificate

The packaging, marks and quality certificate of steel plate, sheet and strip shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 247. […]
