Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document supersedes GB/T 31938-2015 "Steel Plates for Coal Slurry Conveying Pipes" and GB/T 33971-2017 "Hot-rolled Wide Steel Plates for Coal Slurry Conveying Pipes". This document, "Steel Strip," is based on GB/T 31938-2015 and incorporates content from GB/T 33971-2017. In comparison, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) A new method for representing trademarks has been added (see Chapter 4);

b) The chemical composition and carbon equivalent requirements have been changed (see 7.1, 7.2, and

6.1 of GB/T 31938-2015);

c) The yield strength ratio requirement has been changed (see Table 3, Table 3 of GB/T 31938-2015);

d) The test requirements for Charpy impact performance have been changed (see 7.3.2,

6.4 of GB/T 31938-2015);

e) The requirement for a drop weight test has been added (see 7.3.3);

f) The hardness test requirements have been changed (see 7.3.4,

6.5 of GB/T 31938-2015);

g) Added provisions for DS-type inclusions (see 7.7). Please note that some content in this document may involve patents.
