Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 3293-2007 "Chinese shoe last series", compared with GB/T 3293-2007, the main technical differences are as follows:

1 Scope

China's national standard for shoe last systems. It specifies the terms and definitions, the requirements, the inspection of last dimensions, the last types and series, and the naming of lasts, covering the size bins, the size increments, the unified provisions for the back part, the heel height provisions, the standard and reference size requirements, the last length provisions and the machining deviations. The last is the wooden or plastic form a shoe is built around, and it, not the shoe, is where footwear sizing actually lives. Every shoe of a given size from a given factory is the same because the lasts are the same, and a national last standard is therefore what makes size 250 mean the same thing from one manufacturer to the next. This edition replaces GB/T 3293-2007 and rebuilds the classification. The old scheme divided lasts by construction and material - leather shoes, travel shoes, plastic shoes, cloth shoes - and this one divides them by wearer and purpose: men's shoes, women's shoes, children's shoes, professional sports shoes and rain boots. Lace-up shoes, football boots, basketball shoes, running shoes and children's sports and football lasts are added, while a long list of obsolete types is removed, including several kinds of cotton shoe, the vulcanised and liberation lasts, and various sandal and slipper forms. Travel shoe lasts become general sports shoe lasts. The sample sizes have been adjusted throughout. Reading the deleted list is the clearest picture available of what Chinese people stopped wearing between 2007 and 2017. Issued on 29 December 2017 and in force since 1 July 2018.

This standard specifies the size of the shoe last for men's, women's, children's, professional sports shoes and rain boots. This standard applies to the footwear of the above footwear worn by the Chinese population (adults and children).

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2703 apply to this document.

4 Requirements

4.2 shoe size size difference

4.2.1 Length difference The length difference is 10mm and the half difference is 5mm. The difference between the circumference is 7mm and the difference between the half is 3.5mm.

4.2.3 Type difference The difference is 7mm and the half-type difference is 3.5mm.

4.3 Regulations for the uniform parts of the back body The carcass size of the first toe and the fifth metatarsophalangeal part of the carcass of the same type, the same species and the same height, regardless of the head shape. It should remain unchanged.

5 Inspection of shoe last size

The inspection of the size of the shoe last is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 3294.
