HG/T 4809-2015 is the English-translated version of 越野胶鞋.

HG/T 4809-2015 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China devoted to cross-country rubber shoes. It states the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The footwear covered has uppers of natural or synthetic textile, leather or natural leather and soles of rubber or another elastomeric material, and is made by a thermal curing process; it is meant for the mountains, for outdoor activity and for ordinary work in mountain country. Shoes for professional mountaineering, rock climbing, adventure sports and other professional sporting use are excluded. Among the documents called up are GB/T 528, GB/T 531.1, GB/T 3512, GB 25038, HG/T 2017, HG/T 2403 and HG/T 3780. Issued on 30 April 2015, it has applied since 1 October 2015.
