Scope

GB/T 32693-2016 is the English-translated version of 汽油中苯胺类化合物的测定 气相色谱质谱联用法.

GB/T 32693-2016 fixes a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for determining aniline compounds in gasoline.

Clause 1 says the standard applies to the determination of aniline in gasoline and names the six compounds it treats as aniline compounds: aniline, o-methylaniline, m-methylaniline, p-methylaniline, N-methylaniline and N,N-dimethylaniline; it puts the determination range for each of them at 10 mg/L to 1 000 mg/L, states that higher contents can also be determined by the method but that the precision for them has not been investigated, and records that alcohol compounds, ether compounds, acetone, ethyl acetate, sec-butyl acetate and dimethyl carbonate present in gasoline do not interfere with the determination.

A warning at the head of the text notes that applying the standard may involve hazardous materials, operations and equipment, that it does not address every safety question, and that the user is responsible for establishing suitable safety and protective measures and for deciding which regulations apply.

The contents list runs from scope, normative references and terms and definitions through a method summary, the application of the method, reagents and materials, the instrument, sampling, sample preparation and instrument preparation, then clauses on qualitative and quantitative determination and on the calculation of results whose numbers the list drops, and on to quality control, precision and the test report, with Annex A (informative) giving optical and mass spectra of the aniline compounds.

Clause 3 defines the aniline compounds of the standard as those same six substances, and clause 4 opens the method summary by describing how a hydrochloric acid solution converts the aniline compounds in the gasoline into amine salts in acidic aqueous solution, with n-pentane used for removal, but the draft breaks off in mid-sentence at that point.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 1884, GB/T 1885, GB/T 4756, GB/T 6682-2008 and GB/T 12808, along with a document on the determination of precision data for petroleum product test methods whose code the list omits and which the page records elsewhere as GB/T 6683.

The standard was proposed by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Petroleum Products and Lubricants (SAC/TC280) and is held by its Petroleum Fuels and Lubricants Subcommittee (SAC/TC280/SC1), and it was drafted by the Shenzhen Institute of Measurement and Quality Inspection together with the Petrochemical Research Institute of China Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd. and a refining company whose name the draft garbles.

It carries ICS 75.160.20 and Chinese classification E31, and it was issued on 14 June 2016 and has applied since 1 January 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography mass spectrometry method for the determination of aniline compounds in gasoline.

This standard is applicable to the determination of aniline in gasoline. The aniline compounds in this standard include aniline, o-methylaniline, m-methylbenzene Amine, p-methylaniline, N-methylaniline, N, N-dimethylaniline.

The determination range of each aniline compound is 10mg/L ~ 1000mg/L, which can be measured by the method. Density is not investigated.

Alcohol compounds in gasoline, ether compounds, acetone, ethyl acetate, sec-butyl acetate and dimethyl carbonate The aniline compounds of the present process Determination of noninterference.
