Scope

GB/T 32350.1-2025 is the English-translated version of 轨道交通 绝缘配合 第1部分:基本要求 电工电子设备的电气间隙和爬电距离.

GB/T 32350.1-2025 — This document specifies insulation coordination in rail transit applications and applies to signaling equipment, rolling stock equipment, and ground equipment.

Insulation coordination refers to the selection, dimensional determination, and interrelationship of insulation between equipment and between various components within equipment.

When determining insulation dimensions... Considering electrical stress and environmental conditions, the determined insulation dimensions are also the same when the electrical stress and environmental conditions are the same.

The purpose of insulation matching is to avoid unnecessarily large insulation dimensions. This document stipulates that. ---Electrical clearance and creepage distance requirements for equipment; ---General requirements for insulation coordination tests.

The term "equipment" in the above definition refers to "part" in 3.3, and can be applied to a system, subsystem, device, part of an equipment, or equipotential bonding.

A physical realization of. This document does not cover. ---Insulation distance through solids or liquids; ---Insulation distance through gases other than air; ---Insulation distance through air under non-standard pressure; ---Equipment used under extreme conditions.

This document is the foundational standard for product standards. However, due to safety and/or reliability reasons, such as signal equipment; or due to the special operating environment of the product itself, such as overhead contact lines.

If there are existing standards or regulations (such as GB/T 32578), product standards can be adjusted to meet different requirements.

This document specifies the dielectric test (type test or factory test) for the equipment, see Appendix A. Note 1.For systems with strict safety requirements, special requirements are required, which are specified in the product-specific signal standard GB/T 28809.

Note 2.For low-voltage electrical equipment with a rated frequency of 30kHz~10MHz, considering high-frequency voltage stress, the insulation coordination requirements are as specified in GB/T 16935.4.

Introduction

Insulation coordination refers to selecting the electrical insulation characteristics of equipment based on its use and surrounding environment. Only designs based on expected lifespan...

Equipment can only achieve insulating fit when subjected to stresses (such as voltage) during a strike. Insulating fit is the process between equipment and between components within equipment.

The selection, dimensional determination, and interrelationships of insulation are considered. When determining insulation dimensions, electrical stress and environmental conditions are taken into account, even under the most severe conditions.

The following requirements must be met. First, ensure that the insulation performance is not damaged; second, avoid unnecessarily excessive insulation dimensions. GB/T 32350 "Insulation Distribution for Rail Transit" the "Insulation Coordination" aims to specify insulation coordination under specific conditions for rail transit applications and is proposed to consist of two parts.

---Part 1: Basic Requirements for Electrical Clearances and Creepage Distances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The purpose is to determine clearances and creepage distances for applications in rail transit.

Insulation coordination.

---Part 2: Overvoltage and Related Protection. The purpose is to determine the simulation and testing of transient overvoltage protection for power supply-related equipment.

Rail transit insulation coordination Part 1: Basic Requirements for Electrical and Electronic Equipment Clearance and creepage distance

1 Scope

This document specifies insulation coordination in rail transit applications and applies to signaling equipment, rolling stock equipment, and ground equipment.

---Electrical clearance and creepage distance requirements for equipment;

---General requirements for insulation coordination tests.

The term "equipment" in the above definition refers to "part" in 3.3, and can be applied to a system, subsystem, device, part of an equipment, or equipotential bonding.

A physical realization of.

This document does not cover.

---Insulation distance through solids or liquids;

---Insulation distance through gases other than air;

---Insulation distance through air under non-standard pressure;

---Equipment used under extreme conditions.
