1 Scope

This standard specifies technical requirements for wind-power generation equipment that is intended to operate at an altitude ranging from 1,000 m to 5,000 m.

The wind-power generation equipment to which this standard applies mainly refers to: generators (including doubly-fed asynchronous generators and permanent magnet synchronous generators), converters (including doubly-fed converters and full-power converters) and control systems (including master control systems and electrically operated pitch control systems).

The control systems are intended to be used at an altitude ranging from 2,000 m to 5,000 m.
