Scope
GB/T 29004-2021 is the English-translated version of 水稻插秧机 燃油消耗量指标及测量方法.
GB/T 29004-2021 fixes the fuel consumption indicators of a rice transplanter and how they are measured. It gives the terms and definitions, the indicators themselves, the test conditions, the test methods and the requirements for evaluating and certifying the result.
It applies to the fuel consumption of rice transplanters, the figure on which a machine is compared with another. Machine builders, agricultural machinery test stations and the authorities that run energy labelling use it.
It replaces GB/T 29004-2012, was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.
This document replaces GB/T 29004-2012 "Rice Transplanter Fuel Consumption Indicators and Measurement Methods". and GB/T 29004- Compared with:2012, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) Added the technical index requirements for simultaneous fertilization (see 4.3);
b) Added the fuel consumption index of the synchronous fertilization ride-on rice transplanter (see Table 2);
c) Added the diesel fuel consumption index of the ride-on rice transplanter (see Table 2);
d) The fuel consumption index of the walk-behind rice transplanter has been changed (see Table 1, Table 1 of the:2012 edition);
e) Added requirements for test prototypes (see 5.1);
f) Changed the test site conditions (see 5.2, 5.1.2 of the:2012 edition);
g) The requirements for granular fertilizers for simultaneous transplanting and fertilization in the oil consumption test are added (see 5.4);
h) The evaluation and labeling requirements for fuel consumption have been added (see Chapter 7).
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, fuel consumption indicators, test conditions, test methods, evaluation and identification requirements of rice transplanters.
This document is applicable to the fuel consumption index and Measurement.

Among them, dated citations documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Riding rice transplanter
Driven by a power machine, the operator can ride on the machine for rice transplanting.
3.2 Walking rice transplanter
Driven by a power machine, the operator performs the rice transplanting operation on foot.
3.3 Soil-bearing riceseedling
Massive rice seedlings with soil at the roots.
3.4 Operation fuel consumption
The fuel consumption per unit area when the rice transplanter is operating.
3.5 Operation fuel consumption
When the rice transplanter operates at the specified speed, the fuel quality consumed to complete the specified amount of work.
3.6 Test area
The area used for fuel consumption measurement when the rice transplanter is operating.
3.7 Measurement section testsection
