Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 28845-2012 "Yarn-dyed Necktie Fabrics". Compared with GB/T 28845-2012, the main differences are in structural adjustments and weaving... Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition);

b) The grading system was changed, and the "Third-Class Product" designation was removed (see 4.2.2,

3.3 in the.2012 version);

c) The assessment requirements for the quality deviation rate have been changed (see 4.3.1,

3.5 in the.2012 version);

d) The assessment criteria for dimensional change rates during washing and dry cleaning have been revised (see 4.3.1,

3.5 in the.2012 version);

e) The assessment requirements for wet rubbing resistance and light fastness have been revised (see 4.3.1,

3.5 in the.2012 edition);

f) Added "dry cleaning fastness" and "heat pressing fastness" (see 4.3.1);

g) Added "water repellency" and "oil repellency" assessment items (see 4.3.1);

h) A scoring specification for "dyeing and finishing defects" has been added (see 4.4.2);

1 Scope

GB/T 28845-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the woven silk a tie is cut from - the fibre composition and the mass per unit area, the colour fastness to rubbing and perspiration, the dimensional stability, and the defects allowed in a fabric that will be cut on the bias. Issued on 31 October 2025, it takes effect on 1 November 2027, replacing GB/T 28845-2012.
