Scope
GB/T 28116-2011 is the English-translated version of 抗菌骨质瓷器.
GB/T 28116-2011 sets the terms and definitions, the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage for antibacterial bone china.
Clause 1 applies it to bone china ware having an antibacterial function and names no exclusion. Clause 2 cites GB/T 2829, GB/T 3302, GB 4789.2, GB/T 13522-2008 and GB 19489.
Clause 3 defines antibacterial as the activity or action of killing or inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria and fungi, and adds a second definition, for bone china that has an antibacterial effect, whose term name the draft does not print.
