Scope

GB/T 27543-2023 is the English-translated version of 步行式升降平台搬运车.

GB/T 27543-2023 is the Chinese national standard for pedestrian-propelled lifting table trucks.

It fixes the basic parameters and the technical requirements, from environmental working conditions, handle and tiller dimensions, natural descent, frame welding and appearance to strength, operating and steering forces, parking brake, insulation resistance, descent speed, noise, hydraulic sealing, safety valve, wheel guards, safety distances, control symbols and warning signs.

It then gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions on marking, accompanying documents, transport and storage. It applies to pedestrian lifting platform trucks lifted by hand or by battery-electric power, with a rated lifting capacity of no more than 1000 kg and a maximum lifting height of no more than 1700 mm.

It replaces GB/T 27543-2011, was issued on 6 August 2023 and has applied since 1 March 2024.
