This document replaces GB/T 26481-2011 "Valve Emission Test". Compared with GB/T 26481-2011, except for structural adjustment and
Apart from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) Changed the scope requirements (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2011 edition);
b) Added the terms and definitions of "product acceptance test" (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2011 edition);
c) Delete the inspection requirements (see Chapter 4 of the.2011 edition);
d) Changed the requirements for leakage level C at the valve stem seal, from "1000ppmv" to "200ppmv" (see Table 1,.2011 edition
table1);
e) Delete the retest requirement (see 7.2 of the.2011 edition);
f) Deleted Appendix A "Leakage measurement method using the suction method" (see Appendix A of the.2011 edition).
This document is modified to adopt ISO 15848-2.2015 "Measurement, Test and Appraisal Procedures for Fugitive Medium Leakage of Industrial Valves Part 2"
Part. Valve Product Acceptance Test".
The technical differences between this document and ISO 15848-2.2015 and their reasons are as follows.
a) Changed the scope requirements (see Chapter 1) to meet the needs of our country in practical applications;
b) Replaced ISO 15848-1.2015 (see Chapter 3~Chapter 6) with the normative reference GB/T 40079-2021, the two documents

c) It is added that the valve stem (shaft) seal is not allowed to be adjusted after the start of the test (see 4.3), so as to meet the actual needs of product inspection in my country;

1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 40079-2021 apply to this document.
3.1
A factory test of the valve to verify that it meets the requirements of this document.
4 Preparation of test valves
4.1 Number of test valves
The acceptance test of each batch of products is based on the valve type, nominal pressure, and nominal size, and the sampling quantity is determined by the manufacturer and the buyer through negotiation.
The random sampling quantity of each valve shall not be less than 1.
4.2 Conditions for test valves
4.2.1 For valves that have passed the fugitive test according to GB/T 40079-2021, before the acceptance specified in this document, the selected valves can be considered as
Relevant product tests and tests specified by the buyer are qualified.
4.2.2 The manufacturer should ensure that the packing and sealing gasket of the valve are dry before the test (there should be no moisture or it should be carried out after the hydrostatic test).
4.3 Adjustment of valve stem (shaft) seal
Before the test, the preload of the valve stem (shaft) seal should be adjusted according to the instructions of the valve manufacturer; adjustment is not allowed after the start of the test.
5 Test conditions

The test medium is helium, and its volume fraction should not be lower than 97%.
