Scope
GB/T 25796-2010 is the English-translated version of 反应艳黄W-2G（C.I.反应黄39）.
GB/T 25796-2010 specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage of the dye Reactive brilliant yellow W-2G (C.I. Reactive yellow 39, molecular formula C19H12BrCl2N5Na2O8S2, CAS RN 70247-70-0), and applies to its product quality control.
The product is a uniform yellow powder or granules; quality limits cover strength (100 points against the standard), shade, moisture <= 6.0 %, water-insoluble matter <= 0.1 %, solubility at 25 °C >= 100 g/L, dust resistance grade >= 3, and harmful aromatic amines and heavy metals as required by GB 19601 and GB 20814.
Minimum colour fastness ratings on wool at 1/1 standard depth are set for light, washing, acid and alkaline perspiration, water, rubbing and hot pressing.
Test methods detail the wool dyeing procedure for shade and strength and refer to the GB/T methods for moisture, insolubles, cold-water solubility, dusting and fastness; inspection rules distinguish factory and type inspection, and packages are 25 kg with a two-year storage period.
