Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the terminology and commercial specifications of the asphalt heating machine, called the heating machine below, and that it applies to asphalt heating machines used in road construction and maintenance.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the road construction and maintenance machinery and equipment asphalt heating unit (hereinafter referred to as heating machine) terminology and commercial specifications.
This standard applies to road construction and maintenance with asphalt heating machine.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1 Asphalt heating machine
One kind of self-propelled, towed or push-type machinery, with the use of various heating methods (such as infrared, hot air circulation, microwave, etc.), a certain depth Of asphalt is heated to a temperature functions meet the construction requirements.
