Scope
GB/T 25217.11-2019 is the English-translated version of 冲击地压测定、监测与防治方法 第11部分:煤层卸压爆破防治方法.
GB/T 25217.11-2019 is Part 11 of GB/T 25217 and describes how pressure relief blasting in a coal seam is used to prevent rock burst.
It specifies the terms and definitions, the equipment, tools and materials, the blasting parameters and the safety requirements of the method, and applies to destress blasting carried out inside the coal seam to prevent rock burst.
It defines destress blasting in a coal seam, and separates loose blasting, done where the risk has been assessed, from relief blasting, done where monitoring and analysis have identified the hazard.
The equipment listed includes drilling rigs with bits and rods, non-metallic ties for the cartridges and charging rods of wood, bamboo or hard insulating material.
It cites GB 6722 and GB/T 16414. It was issued on 30 August 2019 and has applied since 1 March 2020.
