Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 23114-2008 "Bamboo Woven Products".

Compared with GB/T 23114-2008, the main technical changes of this standard are as follows.

--- Added normative reference documents GB/T 251, GB/T 3920, GB/T 3922, GB 6675.4, GB/T 7573, GB/T 23344, deleted GB 18401-2003, modified the reference standard version in the normative reference document (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2008 edition);

---Added the definition of bamboo woven household products and bamboo products for infants and young children (see Chapter 3);

--- Deleted warp threads, weft threads, and missing wires (see Chapter 3 of the 2008 edition);

--- Deleted product classification (Chapter 4 of the 2008 edition);

--- Modified the embroidery and printing requirements in appearance (see 4.1.3, 5.2.1.3 of the 2008 edition);

---Modified the specification and size requirements (see 4.2, 5.3 of the 2008 edition);

---Added filling requirements and test methods (see 4.3 and 5.3);

---Modified the formaldehyde content requirements and test methods (see Table 1 and 5.4.1, 5.4.1 and 6.4.1 of the 2008 edition);

---Added pH requirements and test methods (see Table 1 and 5.4.2);

---Modified the color fastness requirements (see Table 1 and 5.4.3, 5.4.3 and 6.4.3 of the 2008 edition);

---Added heavy metal element content requirements and test methods (see Table 1 and 5.4.4);

--- Modified the requirements for type inspection (see 6.3, 7.2.2 of the 2008 edition);

---Modified the marking requirements (see 7.1, 8.1 in the 2008 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of bamboo woven household products.

This standard is applicable to household items made of bamboo or woven with fabric or other materials.

This standard does not apply to bamboo woven handicrafts and bamboo woven furniture.
