This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 30417-2013 "General Technical Requirements for Lacquerware". Compared with GB/T 30417-2013, the main differences are structural adjustments and... Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 30417-2026 is the Chinese national standard covering lacquerware - the substrate and the lacquer layers, the adhesion and hardness of the film, the resistance to water, heat and alcohol, and the harmful substances that may not be released by an object used at the table. This document provides information on lacquerware classification, specifies the requirements for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, as well as inspection rules. The requirements for marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage are described, along with the corresponding inspection methods. This document applies to the design, creation, production, and sale of lacquerware.

4 Classification

4.1 According to decorative techniques, lacquerware can be divided into.

---Painting-type lacquerware. polychrome painting, polished painting, gold and silver gilding, gold-painted polychrome lacquerware, rubbing, etc.;

---Inlaid lacquerware. mother-of-pearl inlay, bone and stone inlay, metal inlay, eggshell inlay, multi-treasure inlay, etc.;

---Carved lacquerware. carved red lacquer, carved polychrome lacquer, carved rhinoceros horn lacquer, etc.;

---Lacquerware with carved designs and colors;

---Carved and inlaid lacquerware;

---Lacquerware with raised relief techniques. lacquer thread carving, surface relief, thin relief, high relief, etc.;

---Plain lacquerware. monochrome lacquerware;

---Lacquerware of the Zhangxiu type;

---Other types of lacquerware. transfer printing, laser engraving, etc.

4.2 According to function, lacquerware can be divided into.

---Decorative lacquerware;

---Practical lacquerware;

---Furniture lacquerware;

5.1 Raw materials

5.1.1 Timber The wood used for lacquerware production shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 3324-2024.

5.1.2 Other materials Materials used in lacquerware production, such as cloth (molded), metal, leather, ceramics, and paper, should comply with relevant national standards and regulations.

5.1.3 Ash materials and ash surfaces The ash and ash base used in lacquerware production shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 19959.

5.1.4 Raw Lacquer Raw lacquer used in lacquerware production shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 14703.

5.1.5 Refined Paint Refined lacquer used in lacquerware production shall conform to the requirements in Table 1.

5.2 Main Auxiliary Materials The main auxiliary materials used in lacquerware production should meet the requirements of Table 2.

6 Requirements for semi-finished products

6.1 Gray background The physical and chemical properties of the gray base material should meet the requirements of Table 3.

6.2 Paint film

6.2.1 Paint finish The paint surface should be pure, smooth, glossy, and uniform in color, with a smooth and even undercoat. The paint surface should be free of color differences, brush marks, runs, wrinkles, exposed base paint, and peeling. Phenomena such as falling, cracks, and external damage.

6.2.2 Paint film The physical and chemical properties of the paint film should conform to the requirements in Table 4.

7 Finished Product Requirements

7.1 Main dimensions and tolerances The main dimensions and deviations of lacquerware furniture shall conform to the provisions of GB/T 3324-2024; decorative, practical, ornamental, and other categories. The main dimensions and deviations of lacquerware should comply with the relevant national standards.

7.2 Security The safety of decorative, practical, furniture, ornamental, and other types of lacquerware should meet national safety standards.

7.3 Appearance Quality The appearance quality shall conform to the requirements of Table 5.

7.4 Appearance of Metal Trim Components Metal ornaments should be free from defects such as rust and discoloration, and the paint around the ornaments should be free from expansion, bubbling, peeling, and other phenomena.

7.5 Limits for Hazardous Substances The limits for harmful substances in lacquer furniture shall comply with the provisions of GB 18584-2024 and GB 18581-2020.

8.1 Raw materials

8.1.1 Timber The determination shall be made according to the method in Appendix B of GB/T 3324-2024.

8.1.2 Other Materials Fabrics were tested according to the method specified in GB/T 3923.1; leather was tested according to the method in

5.1.4 of GB/T 16799-2018; ceramics... The tests shall be performed according to the method specified in GB/T 3299; the tests for paper shall be performed according to the method specified in GB/T 12914.Other materials shall be tested according to the corresponding material specifications. The quality standards are measured.

8.1.3 Grey material and grey flooring Ash particle size. Measured using the corresponding mesh sieve. Paint varnish flexibility. determined according to the method specified in GB/T 1731-2020. Heat resistance of the paint ash. Samples were prepared according to the "scraping method" in GB/T 1727-2021.The dried ash samples were then dried in a forced-air drying oven at a specific temperature. Under conditions of (50±1)°C (with the blower on), the sample was placed in the upper part of a blower drying oven for 3 consecutive hours. Observation was performed using a 4x magnifying glass. The formation of cracks indicates a pass. Water resistance of paint ash. The slabs were prepared according to the "scraping method" in GB/T 1727-2021.After drying, they were immersed in distilled water at (25±1)°C. Soak for 1 hour, then remove and observe. Impact strength of paint putty. Putty samples were prepared according to GB/T 1731-2020, using thin steel plates instead of putty with a thickness of 0.2mm~0.3mm. For the sheet metal, the rest were tested according to the methods specified in GB/T 1732-2020.

8.1.4 Raw Lacquer The determination shall be carried out according to the method specified in GB/T 14703.

8.1.5 Refined Paint Paint Appearance. Under natural light, the paint is stirred and visually observed to determine its color, consistency, uniformity, and other characteristics. Free from foreign objects and impurities. Surface drying time. Place the coated glass plate horizontally in a constant temperature and humidity chamber with a temperature of (23±2)°C and a relative humidity of (75±5)%. If the maximum drying time specified in Table 1 for each type of refined paint is reached, and the coating surface is not sticky when touched with a finger, it is considered to meet the requirements. Solid content. determined according to the method specified in GB/T 1725, with a baking temperature of (150±2)°C and a baking time of 30min.

8.2 Inspection of main auxiliary materials

8.2.1 Visual Inspection The viewing distance should be under natural light or near-natural light with an intensity of 300 lx to 600 lx (e.g., a 40W fluorescent lamp), at a distance of Within 700mm~1000mm, visual inspection is used. In case of dispute, three people should jointly inspect, and the result of the majority consensus shall be adopted.

8.2.2 Thickness Use a vernier caliper with a graduation value of no more than

0.02 mm for measurement.

8.2.3 Gold content The gold content and gold foil content were determined according to the methods specified in GB/T 9288, GB/T 40114, and GB/T 18043, with GB/T 9288 as the standard. This is an arbitration testing method.

8.2.4 Gold Powder Particle Size The measurement was performed using the corresponding mesh sieve.

8.2.5 Silver content Silver content was determined according to the methods specified in GB/T 17832, GB/T 11886, and GB/T 18043, with GB/T 17832 as the arbitration standard. Verification method.

8.3 Inspection of semi-finished products

8.3.1 Gray background Gray base thickness. Measured using a thickness gauge as the precision tool, with a graduation value of 1 mm. Impact resistance. Tested according to the method specified in GB/T 1732-2020. Heat resistance. Tested according to the method specified in GB/T 1735. Water resistance. determined according to method

9.3.1 in GB/T 1733-1993. Flexibility. determined according to the method specified in GB/T 1731-2020.

8.3.2 Coating film The paint job is performed visually under natural light. Gloss. Ambient temperature was (23±2)°C, relative humidity was (75±5)%, ambient light intensity was not greater than 20lx, and the sample surface... Wipe the surface clean with a cotton ball soaked in distilled water, ensuring it is dry. Measure the gloss at four points on each sample surface using a gloss meter, and average the results at all four points. The average value is the gloss of the sample. 8.4 Finished Product Inspection

8.4.1 Dimensions and Tolerances The dimensions and tolerances of lacquerware furniture shall be measured according to method

8.4.2 Security For safety testing of harmful substances in lacquerware, the method in

6.2 of GB 18581-2020 shall be followed.

8.4.3 Appearance Quality Under natural light, the process is mainly conducted through visual observation and tactile touch.

8.4.4 Appearance of Metal Trim Components Under natural light, the process is mainly carried out through visual observation and tactile contact.

8.4.5 Limits for Hazardous Substances The determination shall be performed according to the method in GB 18584-2024.

9 Inspection Rules

9.1 Inspection Classification Product inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. The product inspection items comply with the requirements of Chapters 6 and 7.

9.2 Factory Inspection

9.2.1 Factory Inspection Items Non-destructive testing is conducted before shipment. This includes items 6.2.1, 7.1, 7.3, and 7.4.

9.2.2 Batching and Sampling Plans Products of the same model made of the same material, using the same process, and produced continuously during the same period are considered products of the same batch. The sampling inspection procedure follows the provisions of GB/T 2828.1, employing normal inspection with single sampling, and the inspection level is general inspection level II. Acceptance... 9.2.3.1 Determination of a single product If all items listed in

9.2.1 meet the requirements of Chapters 6 and 7, the product is deemed to be qualified; otherwise, it is deemed to be unqualified.

9.2.3.2 Batch Product Judgment Based on the total number of products in the batch, the sample quantity is drawn according to the provisions of Table

6.If the number of non-conforming items is less than or equal to the acceptance number (Ac), the batch is deemed acceptable. If the number of non-conforming products is greater than or equal to the rejection number (Re), the batch of products is deemed non-conforming.

9.3 Type Testing

9.3.1 Inspection Items Type testing includes the items in

6.2 and Chapter 7.

9.3.2 Timing of Inspection During formal production, type testing shall be conducted at least once every two years. Type testing shall be conducted under any of the following circumstances.

a) When significant changes occur in the raw materials, structure, or production process of the product after formal production has commenced;

b) When production resumes after a one-year hiatus;

c) During the trial production and type approval of new or old products;

d) When the factory inspection results differ significantly from the previous type inspection results;

e) When the factory is relocated or the actual production location changes.

9.3.3 Sampling and Inspection Procedures Three samples are randomly selected from the batch of products that have passed factory inspection. One sample is sent for testing, and the other two are sealed and stored. The inspection procedure should be... 9.3.4 Judgment Rules If all the sampled products pass the inspection, the batch of products is deemed to have passed the type inspection.

9.3.5 Re-inspection Rules If any items in the product type inspection are non-conforming or not inspected due to damaged test specimens, the sealed spare samples can be re-inspected. The results shall be judged in accordance with the provisions of 9.3.4, and "re-inspection" shall be noted in the test results.

10 Marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage

10.1 Mark Product markings should include at least the following.

a) Product name and specifications;

b) Names of main materials and their applicable standard numbers;

c) Certificate of conformity and production date;

d) Producer's Chinese name and address;

e) The product QR code conforms to GB/T 23704, and the QR code information should include basic product information (name, specifications, and applicable standards). ), producer information (factory name, address, contact information), traceability information (production date), and compliance markings (inspection certificate).

10.2 Instructions for Use The writing of product instructions shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 5296.6.

10.3 Packaging

10.3.1 The packaging of lacquerware should be made of non-corrosive materials, depending on the actual condition of the lacquerware.

10.3.2 The packaging box should be strong enough to prevent damage to the lacquerware under normal transportation and storage conditions.

10.3.3 All components inside the packaging box should be kept away from collisions and movement.

10.4 Transportation The product should be protected from rain, drops, and squeezing during transportation.

10.5 Storage Products should be protected to prevent contamination, insect infestation, moisture, and sun exposure. Products should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated warehouse free of corrosive gases. They should be stacked flat, not too high or too heavy, to prevent damage from pressure. GB/T 30417-2026.
