Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GB 22748-2008 "Safety and Hygiene Requirements for Vertical Noodle Mixers of Food Processing Machinery". Compared with GB 22748-2008, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Added "Terms and Definitions" (see Chapter 3);

--- Added "inspection rules" (see Chapter 8).

Introduction

This document lists the various hazards that may arise from the use of a vertical dough mixer. In addition, for hazards not covered in this document, see Applicable terms of GB/T 15706-2012.

This document includes requirements for product safety and risk, and can be used as a supplement to mechanical design standards such as GB/T 22747-2022. The structure of the Machinery Safety Series Standard is.

--- Class A standard (basic safety standard), giving the basic concepts, design principles and characteristics applicable to all machinery.

--- Class B standard (general safety standard), involving a safety feature of machinery or a class of safety guards with a wide range of use.

- Category B1, specific safety features (such as safety distance, surface temperature, noise) standards;

- Class B2, safety devices (such as two-hand control devices, interlocking devices, pressure-sensitive devices, protective devices) standards.

--- Class C standard (machine safety standard), a standard that specifies detailed safety requirements for a specific machine or group of machines. This document is a Category C standard.

When the provisions of Type C standards are different from those of Type A standards or Type B standards that have been promulgated, for those that have been designed in accordance with Type C standards and manufactured machines, the provisions of the Class C standard take precedence over the provisions of the Class A standard or the provisions of the Class B standard.

1 Scope

This document specifies an overview of vertical dough mixers, descriptions of relevant hazards, technical requirements, verification of measures, inspection rules and usage information.

This document is applicable to vertical dough mixers (hereinafter referred to as and noodle machine).

Note 1. This type of dough mixer is suitable for processing various materials, such as. flour, sugar, fat, salt, water and other materials, mainly used in restaurants, hotels, coffee shops and pubs, etc. Food and catering industry.

Note 2. This type of dough mixer may also be used in food production plants and other industries (eg. pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, printing industry), this document does not consider other industry-related hazards.

The dough mixers referred to in this document do not include the following machines.

--- Planetary mixer (EN454);

---Continuous feeder;

--- mixers with fixed vertical buckets;

--- experimental and test apparatus developed by the manufacturer;

--- Household appliances;

--- Automatic loading and unloading device.
