3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Paper layer break in the production or the printing process, when the external force is applied to the paper surface is larger than paper or paperboard cohesion occurred Bad phenomenon.

Note. For coated paper, such damage can lead to particles or fibers coated whole or in part from the paper off the surface "bubble" or "fluff", uncoated paper Failure modes are generally stripped of fiber bundles.

Start printing surface of the printing paper fluff printing speed.

A continuous increase in the speed of the printing paper, paper speed until the beginning of fluff when, in m/s Fig.

Principle 4

At constant pressure by a standard ink printing sample, while the printing speed is gradually increased to the minimum speed of the paper occurs when the measured paper fluff Printing surface strength of the sheets, the higher the speed, indicating that the printing surface strength of the paper as possible.

5 Instruments

5.1 IGT print tester (electric)

Tester consists of two separate parts. one is the distribution of ink systems can be given a printed layer disc known (given) standard oil thickness Ink; the other is the electric transmission printing equipment, printing pressure by the variable spring load control.
