1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 22126-2008 "General Specification for Logistics Center Operations". 1 Scope

China's national general specification for the operation of a logistics centre. It specifies the general operating requirements, the operational management, and the inspection and improvement provisions, and it applies to the operating activities of a logistics centre. A logistics centre is not a warehouse. A warehouse holds goods; a logistics centre is a node through which goods move, where they are received, sorted, stored briefly, picked, consolidated, packed and dispatched, often within hours, and where the value added is the movement rather than the storage. That distinction determines what has to be specified. Storage capacity matters less than throughput and dwell time; the layout is designed around flow and around the separation of inbound and outbound; and the operations are sequential, so a delay at any point propagates through the whole facility and the day cannot be recovered. The standard sets out the operations in that order - receiving and checking, putaway, storage, replenishment, picking, distribution processing, packing, loading and dispatch, and returns handling - with the requirements for each, and then covers what makes them work together: the information system and the data that has to be captured at each handover, the identification and traceability of goods, the equipment and facility requirements, the safety and hygiene provisions, and the personnel. The last chapter, on inspection and improvement, defines the operational indicators by which a centre is measured - accuracy, timeliness, damage and loss rates - and the review by which they are acted upon, which is what turns a specification into something a facility can be managed against. Issued and in force since 1 August 2025, it replaces GB/T 22126-2008.

This document specifies the general operating requirements, operation management, inspection and improvement contents of the logistics center. This document applies to the operational activities of the logistics center.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18354 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 logistics center logistics center It has complete logistics facilities and information network, which can be easily connected to the external transportation network, with sound logistics functions and a wide range of concentrated radiation.
