Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document supersedes GB/T 21558-2008 "Rigid Polyurethane Foam for Building Insulation" and is consistent with GB/T 21558-2008.

Compared to previous versions, aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The term and definition of "rigid polyurethane foam" have been added (see 3.1);

---The classification and grading have been changed, adding grading by compression performance, grading by combustion performance, and grading by thermal insulation performance (see section 4).

Chapter 3 (2008 edition);

---The requirements for compression performance and dimensional stability have been changed (see 5.2.1, 4.4 in the 2008 version);

---Added dimensional stability requirements for rigid polyisocyanurate foam (see 5.2.2);

---The combustion performance requirements have been changed (see 5.3, 4.5 in the 2008 version);

---Insulation performance requirements have been added (see 5.4);

---Added numerical rounding requirements (see 6.4);

---Identification requirements have been changed (see Chapter 8, 7.1 of the 2008 edition).
