This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 21098-2007 "Lampholders, lampholders and gauges for testing their safety and interchangeability - Part 4.Guidelines and a

"General Information", compared with GB/T 21098-2007, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The model naming method of lamp caps and lamp sockets has been changed (see Chapter 1 of 4.1,.2007 edition);

b) Changed the creepage distances and clearances of lamp caps on finished lamps (see 4.4, Chapter 4 of the.2007 edition);

c) Added requirements for compliance testing during manufacturing (see 4.11);

d) Guidelines for general new lighting systems are added (see 4.12);

e) Changed the word "datum nominal" in "E14 matching lamp glass neck with a nominal diameter less than 22mm" and changed it to "nominal reference"

(see 4.14, Chapter 12 of the.2007 edition);

f) Added system requirements for lamp head interchange (see 4.17);

g) Added the lamp holder revocation list (see 4.18).

This document is equivalent to IEC 60061-4.2018 "lamp caps, lamp holders and gauges for checking their interchangeability and safety - Part 4.Guidelines

and General Information" (version 4.16).

This document prescribes lamp caps, lamp holders, gauge guidelines for checking their safety and interchangeability, and establishes naming rules, fixing methods, mutual

exchangeability and safety requirements.

This document applies to the inspection of lamp caps and lamp sockets using gauges whose functions are safety and interchangeability.

1 Introduction

The current notation system is to specify lamp bases as various models. This model consists of letters, numbers and symbols, and has the designation

meaning.

Obviously, there is a certain relationship between a lamp holder and the lamp holder to which it is applied. This relationship will be reflected in the corresponding model, i.e.

A certain part of this model can be used for both the lamp head and the lamp holder.
