GB/T 19802-2026 is the English-translated version of 无损检测 工业射线照相观片灯 最低要求.
Film interpretation in industrial radiography relies on a viewing light that is bright and even enough for the inspector to see fine detail on the radiograph. This standard sets out minimum requirements for industrial radiographic illuminators, the equipment used to view developed films in NDT work. It is a recommended national standard in the non-destructive testing family.
Manufacturers of film viewers will use it as a design and acceptance reference, while radiography contractors, inspection bodies, pressure equipment fabricators and laboratory managers can use it when specifying or auditing viewing stations. Buyers comparing equipment from different suppliers also gain a common yardstick.
The 2026 edition was issued on 30 July 2026, comes into force on 1 February 2027 and replaces GB/T 19802-2005. Organisations whose quality manuals cite the earlier edition should plan to update those references before the new one applies.

GB/T 19802-2026 is a recommended national standard (GB/T) of the People's Republic of China, issued on 30 July 2026 by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, with effect from 1 February 2027.
This edition replaces GB/T 19802-2005.
The document adopts an international standard (ISO or IEC).
It is under the responsibility of the Standardization Administration of China.
