Scope

GB/T 19134-2015 is the English-translated version of 三轮汽车和低速货车 后视镜 性能和安装要求.

GB/T 19134-2015 fixes what the rear view mirrors of tri-wheel vehicles and low-speed goods vehicles must do and how they are to be fitted.

Clause 1 states that it specifies the performance requirements, the test methods and the installation requirements for the rear view mirrors of three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks and that it applies to three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles, which it treats together as low-speed vehicles; the page records no exclusion.

Clause 2 is Terms and definitions and runs from 2.1 to 2.8, covering the rear view mirror, the interior rear view mirror, the exterior rear view mirror, the class of rear view mirror, divided into class I interior mirrors and class II and class III exterior mirrors, the radius of curvature, the basic radius of curvature, the radius of curvature at one point on the reflecting surface and the centre of the mirror.

Several of those definitions refer to the field of vision, measurement and calculation clauses of the standard, which the draft never reaches, since it breaks off at 2.8.

The foreword lists the changes from the 2003 edition: the title moved from farm vehicles to three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles, the former three-wheeled farm vehicles and four-wheel farm vehicles were renamed, the size requirements for exterior mirrors were adjusted, the requirements for the radius of curvature of the reflecting surface of class II and class III mirrors were modified, a requirement was added that an exterior mirror fitted less than 1.8 m above the ground be able to mitigate impact, and the requirements on which kinds of mirror three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles are to carry were modified.

It replaces GB/T 19134-2003, was issued on 2015-05-15 and has applied since 2015-10-01.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 19134-2003 "farm vehicles rearview mirror performance and installation requirements." This standard and GB/T 19134- The main changes compared to 2003 are as follows.

--- Standard name from "farm vehicles rearview mirror performance and installation" was changed to "after three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles, as the Mirror performance and installation requirements ";

--- The "three farm vehicles" was renamed "three cars", "four-wheel farm vehicles" was renamed "low-speed vehicles";

--- Adjust the outside mirrors size requirements;

--- Modified class II and class III mirror radius of curvature of the reflective surface requirements;

--- Increasing the outer 1.8m from the ground below the rearview mirror should be able to mitigate the impact of functional requirements installed;

--- Modified three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles to install mirrors species requirements. The standard proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.

The low standard by the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC234) centralized.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks mirror performance requirements, test methods and installation requirements.

This standard applies to three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed vehicles (collectively, low-speed vehicles).

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

2.1 Rearview mirror

5.5 low-speed vehicles to meet the provisions of the rear and side of the image field of view means to see.

2.2 Interior mirror

Meet the vision requirements specified in 3.1, installed in the low-speed vehicles interior of the body.

2.3 Exterior mirrors

Meet the vision requirements specified in 3.1, installed in the low-speed vehicles external devices.

2.4 Mirrors category

Having one or more common rearview device features and functions can be divided into. interior mirror class I, class II exterior mirrors and III class.

2.5 The radius of curvature

5.1 according to the method prescribed in the radius of curvature of the reflective surface of the measured average.

2.6 The basic radius of curvature

4.2.2 according to the method specified by the curvature of the reflecting surface in the center of the mirror and parallel to segment b and the direction perpendicular to the line segment measured Radius ri (or r'i). b segments is determined, see 4.2.2. i = 1,2,3.

2.7 Reflective surface radius of curvature of a point

Basic arithmetic average of the radii of curvature ri and r'i rp, see equation (1).

rp = ri r'i (1)

2.8 Mirror Center

Reflective surface visible centroid region.
