Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 18959-2003 "Wood Storage Regulations". Compared with GB/T 18959-2003, except for structural adjustment and editing in addition to sexual changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

b) The timber storage method is deleted (see Chapter 4 of the 2003 edition);

c) Timber storage procedures have been added (see Chapter 4);

d) Changed "timber storage principles" to "general requirements" and changed the content (see Chapter 5, Chapter 3 of the 2003 edition);

e) The physical storage of logs has been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 5 of the 2003 edition);

f) Changed the physical storage of sawn timber (see Chapter 7, Chapter 6 of the 2003 edition);

g) Changed the chemical storage of wood (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the 2003 edition);

h) Increased verification method (see Chapter 9).

1 Scope

This document establishes wood storage procedures, specifies general requirements, physical storage of logs, physical storage of sawn timber and chemical storage of wood, describes verification methods such as process records, supporting documents and measurements are specified.

This document is applicable to timber storage in the fields of timber production, processing, use and circulation.

Among them, dated references For documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.
