GB/T 18261-2013 is the Chinese national standard on test method for anti-mildew agents in controlling wood mould and stain fungi, in the field of wood technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 12 November 2013 by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 11 April 2014. --- The text "blue stain fungi" to "discoloration bacteria";
--- On the "Wood Stain bacteria", "Wood mold" redefined;
--- Test equipment and conditions added to the pipette (see 4.6.1);
--- Wood species selection, increase the softwood Pinus radiata and Pinus sylvestris, hardwood increased tomentosa (see 4.2.1.1);
--- Increasing the bamboo species selection and bamboo sample preparation method (see
