Scope
GB/T 18241.3-2018 is the English-translated version of 橡胶衬里 第3部分:浮选机衬里.
GB/T 18241.3-2018 is the part of the Chinese national standard on rubber linings that covers linings for flotation machines.
It sorts linings into three classes, wear-resistant (FM), oil-resistant (FY) and corrosion-resistant (FF), with a marking scheme, and sets requirements for thickness and its deviation, surface quality, rubber properties and lining integrity.
It gives the test methods, including a 90° spring balance peel test for adhesion, the inspection rules, and the lining work itself with completion inspection and quality assessment of the equipment, followed by marking, packaging, transport, storage and protection.
It applies to flotation machines and associated equipment such as tanks, impellers, feed and tailings boxes in mining, metallurgy, rare earth, chemical and coal plants.
It replaces GB/T 18241.3-2000, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword
GB/T 18241 "rubber lining" is divided into five parts.
--- Part 1. Equipment corrosion lining;
--- Part 2. Mill lining;
--- Part 3. Flotation machine lining;
--- Part 4. Flue gas desulfurization lining;
--- Part 5. High temperature resistant anticorrosive linings.
This part is Part 3 of GB/T 18241.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Part replaces GB/T 18241.3-2000 "rubber lining - Part 3. flotation machine lining", and GB/T 18241.3-2000 In addition to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Modified classification and marking (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2000 edition);
--- Increased thickness and deviation requirements (see 4.1);
--- Modify the surface quality requirements (see 4.2, version 4.3 in 2000);
--- Adjusted performance requirements (see 4.3, 4.4, 2000 version 4.2);
--- Increased integrity requirements (see 4.5);
--- Modify the requirements of the inspection rules (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the 2000 edition);
--- Increased lining construction, equipment completion inspection and quality assessment (see Chapter 7);
--- Increased lining equipment transportation, storage and protection (see 8.2);
--- Increase the rubber lining adhesive strength of the detection spring balance 90 ° peeling method (see Appendix A).
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 18241 specifies the classification and marking of flotation liners (hereinafter referred to as linings), technical requirements, test methods, and inspections. Inspection rules and lining construction, equipment completion inspection, quality assessment and marking, packaging, transportation, storage and protection.
This section applies to mining, metallurgy, rare earth, chemical, coal and other industries flotation machines and rubber lining of supporting equipment.
Note: Flotation machines and supporting equipment include. flotation tanks, spindle supports, impellers, partitions, covers, drive devices, ore-feeding boxes, intermediate boxes, tailings boxes, and medicine boxes. Washing devices, conveying devices, etc.
