Scope

GB/T 18003-2024 is the English-translated version of 人造板机械 设备型号编制方法.

China's national method for constructing the model designation of a piece of wood-based panel machinery - the code that identifies what a machine is, what it does and at what capacity. It describes the method for compiling the models of wood-based panel machinery and equipment, and it applies to all types of such machinery. Wood-based panel plants are assembled from a very wide range of machines: debarkers, chippers, flakers, refiners, dryers, screens, blenders, formers, prepresses, hot presses, cooling stars, sanders, saws, laminating lines and the conveying and dust extraction that ties them together, each in many sizes and configurations. A plant orders spares, plans maintenance and specifies replacements by model, and a designation that does not encode the essentials forces every transaction back to a drawing number that only the original supplier holds. The method sets a structured code: the class and group of machine, its type within the group, the principal characteristic parameter - which for a press is the platen size and the number of openings, for a dryer the evaporation capacity, for a sander the working width, and so on for each family - and the design revision or variant. Because the code is built from a defined character sequence rather than assigned arbitrarily, a designation can be read by someone who has never seen the machine, and two suppliers offering equivalent equipment produce comparable designations. The terminology it rests on comes from GB/T 18263 for hot presses and from the classification vocabulary of the sector. Issued on 15 March 2024 and in force since 1 October 2024, it replaces GB/T 18003-1999.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 18003-1999 "Method for compiling models of wood-based panel machinery and equipment" and is consistent with GB/T 18003-1999. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

b) The model indication method has been changed (see Chapter 4,

2.1 of the.1999 edition);

c) Added 5 categories of equipment. slab pretreatment equipment, surface quality inspection equipment, glue and additive mixing equipment, coating processing equipment, and auxiliary equipment (see Table 1);

d) The stacker-destacker category has been deleted (see Table 1 of the.1999 edition);

e) Changed the names of some categories, changing the trimming machine category to the board cutting machine category, the hole repair machine category to the single board repair machine category, and the separator category Changed to gas-solid separation device category (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.1999 edition);

f) Changes have been made to merge some categories, merging the container category and the concentration regulator category into the glue and additive preparation equipment category (see Table 4,.1994 edition). Table 2);

g) Changed some categories to groups, adjusted the impregnation dryer category to the secondary processing equipment group, and changed the name to impregnation dryer group; The six categories of processing equipment, panel splitters, loaders and unloaders, lifting platforms, weighing scales, and sharpeners were adjusted to the auxiliary equipment category, and the group name was changed to Heat treatment equipment, humidifiers, board separators, loaders, unloaders, lifting tables, metering devices, knife sharpeners; electromagnetic vibrators and magnetic The category of magnetic separation devices is adjusted to the group of other categories, and the group name is electromagnetic vibrator and magnetic separation device (see Table 4, Table 2 of the.1999 edition);

h) The group, series codes and main parameters of wood-based panel machinery and equipment have been changed (see 4.4, 4.5, 4.7,

2.3 of the.1999 edition);

i) Added characteristic codes for wood-based panel machinery (see 4.6). Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents.
