Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GB/T 21723-2008 "Wheat (rice) Straw Particleboard". Compared with GB/T 21723-2008, except for structural adjustment and In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

--- Changed the definition of wheat (rice) straw particleboard, "with isocyanate (MDI) resin as adhesive" was adjusted to "with isocyanate resin" for adhesives" (see 3.1, 3.1 of the:2008 edition);

--- Added two terms "three-layer structure wheat (rice) straw particleboard" and "gradual structure wheat (rice) straw particleboard" (see 3.3, 3.4);

--- Changed the definition of "hollow structure wheat (rice) straw particleboard" (see 3.5, 3.3 of the:2008 edition);

--- Changed the nominal thickness division of wheat (rice) straw particleboard, and the nominal thickness ranges "3< t<=4" and "4< t<=6" were merged into "t<=6" (see Table 3 of 5.3, Table 3 of 5.3 of the:2008 edition);

--- Changed the 2h water absorption thickness expansion rate requirement of wheat (rice) straw particleboard, from "<=6.0%" to "<=8.0%" [see 5.3 of Table 3, Table 3 of:2008 Edition 5.3)];

--- Changed the screw-holding force requirements of wheat (rice) straw particleboard, from "board surface >= 1100N, board edge >= 700N" to "board surface >= 1100N" >=900N, board edge >=600N" (see Table 3 of 5.3, Table 3 of 5.3 of the:2008 edition);

--- Increased the formaldehyde emission requirements and testing methods for wheat (rice) straw particleboard (see Table 3 and 6.3.2.9 in 5.3);

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification, requirements, measurement and test methods, results calculation and determination methods, inspection rules, Labeling, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document is applicable to wheat (rice) straw particleboard in dry state for interior decoration, furniture making and packaging.
