GB/T 41231-2021 is the English-translated version of 竹木刨花模压成型托盘通用技术条件.
GB/T 41231-2021 is the general specification for moulded pallets made from bamboo and wood particles, that is, pallets moulded from shavings of bamboo, wood and their processing residues after sizing.
It defines the features the requirements refer to, such as the support legs moulded on the underside, the reinforcing ribs of the bearing surface, how evenly the legs rest on a horizontal plane and how closely stacked pallets line up.
It covers the requirements, test methods and inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage, with annexes showing the basic moulded shapes and the moulds.
Its test methods draw on standards for flat pallets, wood-based panels and the load-duration and creep behaviour of wood products. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of moulded pallets of bamboo and wood shavings.
This document applies to shavings moulded pallets made from bamboo wood and its processing residues.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 3716-2000, GB/T 31291-2014 and GB/T 34394-2017 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Moulded pallets with bamboo and wood particles
Qualified wood shavings are made from bamboo wood and its processing residues, and then a pallet is made by sizing and molding.
Note: See Appendix A for the basic molding style of bamboo and wood shavings molded pallets. Bamboo wood shavings molding tray molding mold see Appendix B.
3.2 Support leg
The underside of the pallet is moulded into a protruding part for supporting the load.
3.3 Reinforcing rib
The concave bearing surface plays a strip-shaped part that improves the bearing capacity and effectively transmits the load.
3.4 Degree of balance and stability
The degree to which each support leg is in smooth contact with the same horizontal plane.
3.5 Coincidence degree
When the pallets are stacked, the distance between the adjacent edges of the pallets varies.
