Foreword

This standard is GB/T 17890-1999 "Feed corn" amendments. This standard and GB/T 17890-1999 main differences are as follows:

This standard specifies the definition of feed corn, requirements, sampling, testing methods, inspection rules, packaging, transport and storage. This standard applies to the acquisition, storage, transport, processing, and sales of commercial feed corn.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1 Maize mass in unit volume in grams/liter (g/L) represented.

3.2 Imperfect grains comprising the damaged but still feeding value of corn.

3.2.1 Insects, decay, hurt embryos or endosperm particles.

3.2.2 Grain with spots, hurt embryos or endosperm particles.

3.2.3 Grains damaged the grain volume reached more than one-fifth of the grain.
