GB/T 17744-2020Petroleum and natural gas industries - Drilling and well servicing equipment (English PDF)

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 17744-2015 "Petroleum and natural gas industry drilling and workover equipment". Compared with GB/T 17744-2015, the main technical changes are as follows:

---In the "scope", 7 types of equipment have been deleted and 3 types of equipment have been added (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2015 edition);

---Delete the requirements for power tongs and other equipment in the design, and increase the requirements for turntable slips, slip seats, etc. (see 4.1, 4.4, 4.6, 2015 Version 4.1, 4.4, 4.6);

--- Modify the formula (3) in the design verification load test to Table 3 (see 5.4.3, 5.4.3 of the 2015 edition);

---Added the requirements for non-metallic materials (see 6.4);

---Added the requirements of acceptance criteria for non-metallic parts (see 8.4.7.5);

---The process of requiring confirmation has been added (see 8.9);

---Modified some of the requirements in the heart of the turntable (see 9.3, 9.3 in the 2015 edition);

---Deleted the content of standard turntable slips and non-standard turntable slips (see 9.4 and 9.5 in the 2015 edition);

---The contents of slip holder, turntable slip and chuck are added to the equipment (see 9.4~9.6);

---The test pressure of drilling hose and hose with a working pressure less than or equal to 51.7 MPa is changed from 2 times to 1.5 times (see Table 10, Table 9 of the 2015 edition);

---Modify the hydrostatic test pressure of the hose and damping hose to 1.5 times the working pressure (see 9.7.7.1, 2015 edition 9.6.7.1);

---Delete the manufacturer's name or trademark and standard number in the content of the equipment logo (see the 2015 version of 9.7, 9.8, 9.10, 9.12, 9.13, 9.14);

---The requirements for manual chucks, pneumatic or hydraulic chucks, and power tongs are deleted from the equipment (see 9.9~9.12 and 9.15);

--- SR2A in Appendix A is changed to only metal parts, and SR2B non-metal parts requirements are added (see Appendix A);

--- Deleted the piston drilling pump term recommended in the original Appendix C (see Appendix C of the 2015 edition);

---Added Appendix C manual tongs load limit design (see Appendix C);

---Added Appendix D product order information (see Appendix D).

This standard is approved by the National Petroleum Drilling Equipment and Tools Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 96).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the design, manufacturing and quality control requirements of drilling and workover equipment and main load-bearing replacement parts.

This standard applies to the following equipment.

a) Turntable;

b) Turntable to fill the heart;

c) Slip seat;

d) Manual and power turntable slips;

e) Manual and power chuck;

f) High-pressure drilling fluid and cement hose;

g) Piston drilling pump parts;

h) Winch parts;

i) Manual pliers;

j) Safety slips not used as lifting equipment;

k) Blowout preventer (BOP) transport system;

l) Pressure relief device for high pressure drilling fluid circulation system;

m) The pliers tail rope.
