This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 17216-2012 "Environmental sanitation requirements for civil air defense projects in peacetime" and is consistent with GB/T 17216-2012. In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 17216-2025 is the Chinese national standard on hygienic requirement for peacetime utilization of civil air defence works, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 25 April 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 November 2025. Classification: ICS 13.100, CCS C 51. This document stipulates the environmental sanitation requirements for the peacetime use of civil air defense projects. This document is applicable to accommodation, business (including shopping malls/supermarkets, catering services, etc.) and entertainment (including performances, singing and dancing entertainment, etc.) For civil air defense projects in places such as swimming pools, and other places for normal use, refer to the relevant public place hygiene standards of our country.
