1 Scope

GB/T 15187-2017 is the Chinese national standard on measuring method for performances of wet dust collectors, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Wet dust collector wetdustcolector; wetscrubber A precipitator that separates dust from dust-laden gas by the washing of liquid (usually water).

3.2 Hygroscopic agent A solid substance capable of absorbing gaseous and liquid water.

3.3 Gas humidity gashumidity Characterize the amount of moisture in the gas, available moisture content, moisture content, absolute humidity and relative humidity and so on.
