Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1:1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting: This document replaces GB/T 14713-2009 "General Technical Conditions for Rotary Cutting Machines": Compared with GB/T 14713-2009, except for structural adjustments In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2009 edition);

b) Added structural diagrams of card-free rotary cutting machines and compound rotary cutting machines (see Figures 2 and 3);

c) Added parameters and specifications for spindle-free rotary cutting machines and compound rotary cutting machines (see Table 1);

d) The maximum length specification of rotary cut wood segments has been changed (see Table 1, Table 1 of the:2009 version);

e) The chip removal device is deleted (see 5:1:14 of the:2009 version);

f) Added main component requirements (see 6:2), assembly requirements (see 6:3), and safety requirements (see 6:4);

g) The geometric accuracy (see Table 2, Table 3 of the:2009 version) and working accuracy (see Table 4, of the:2009 version) of the rotary cutting machine with stuck shaft have been changed: Table 4);

h) Increased the geometric accuracy of card-free rotary cutting machines and compound rotary cutting machines (see Table 3);

i) The division and tolerance of working accuracy plate thickness sections have been changed (see Table 4, Table 4 of the:2009 version);

j) Added some dry running test requirements (see 6:7);

k) Added partial load test requirements (see 6:8);

GB/T 14713-2023 is the Chinese national standard on general technical conditions for veneer lathe, in the field of wood technology.
