1 Scope

GB/T 14629.1-2018 is the Chinese national standard on huyang lamb skin, in the field of textile and leather technology. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 28 December 2018 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 July 2019. This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of Xiaohu sheepskin. This standard applies to raw small lake sheepskin that has not been treated after slaughter or has been properly preserved.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

2.1 Huyang yang Originally produced in the Taihu Lake Basin of China, mainly distributed in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, Huzhou City, Hangzhou City, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province and Shanghai In some areas. It is a short-lived sheep, a white lamb skin sheep breed.

2.2 The peeled skin of the newborn lamb produced by the purebred sheep is not more than 2700 cm2.

2.3 Wave curl wavepattern The pattern is closely arranged by bending into "S"-shaped wool fibers, and the matte surface is undulating.
