Scope

GB/T 14495-2009 is the English-translated version of 产品几何技术规范(GPS) 表面结构 轮廓法 木制件表面粗糙度比较样块.

GB/T 14495-2009 covers the roughness comparison specimens used to judge the surface texture of wooden pieces by eye and by touch.

It sets out how the specimens are made - by electroforming a copy of a master surface, by copying it in plastic or another material, or by machining a chosen timber directly, with the moisture content kept at or below the local equilibrium level - and what their surfaces must show.

It also covers the classification of the specimen blocks, the surface roughness parameters and the way they are assessed, the structural dimensions and the marking.

The comparison is valid only between surfaces of similar grain produced by the same machining method: sanding, milling, planing or turning. It replaces GB/T 14495-1993, was issued on 16 March 2009 and has applied since 1 November 2009.

Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 14495-1993 "wooden surface roughness comparison specimen." This standard compared with GB/T 14495-1993, the main contents of modification are.

--- According to GB/T 1.1-2000 Standardization Guide Part 1: Structure and standard writing rules, made some editorial Modify, add standard foreword;

--- In the standard technical content, such as. terms of standard names, terms and other parameters, have made consistent with the new surface architecture standards;

--- Added Appendix B;

--- The standard Appendix A and Appendix B is an informative annex. This standard GPS location system in Appendix B.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method of manufacturing a wooden surface roughness comparison specimens, the surface features, like block classification, surface roughness parameters assessment The method, structure size and marking.

This standard applies to wooden surface sand, milling, planing, vehicles, and other processing methods roughness comparison specimen. The sample block is used with the same grain structure Surface treatment is similar and the same processing methods were compared by visual and tactile assessment wooden surface roughness. It also serves as wooden pieces The surface roughness parameters selected reference.

2 Normative references

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this standard and become the standard terms. For dated references, subsequent Amendments (not including errata content) or revisions do not apply to this standard, however, encourage the parties to the agreement are based on research Whether the latest versions of these documents. For undated reference documents, the latest versions apply to this standard.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 12472 and specified in the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

3.1 Roughness comparison specimen for wooden pieces

Characterization of wood by machining or other processing methods have similar surface characteristics and the actual workpiece surface profile of a known arithmetic mean bias Poor specimens R Rao values.

4 Manufacturing method

Specimens according to the following method of manufacturing.

4.1 electroforming method to copy the surface of the male mold.

4.2 plastic or other materials, to copy the surface of the male mold.

4.3 directly with a specific timber manufactured by the method prescribed processing surface. The moisture content of the wood should be equal to or less than the region's average level timber Equilibrium moisture content.

5 Surface features

Surface roughness characteristics of specific materials and processing methods 5.1 specimen surface should only be presented to characterize it produced, and not containing a surface roughness
